Sourdough FAQ

This is a compilation of FAQs that I see a lot so I thought of compiling my own list for my own reference.

1. So what exactly is a sourdough bread?
It's just bread that is leavened using sourdough starter, and not instant yeast in those itty bitty packets you see. They take a much longer time to yield loaves of bread (24-26 hours from start to finish) but it has a much more flavourful and tangy taste to the bread itself. Try it!

2. Can you use whey in place of water?
Apparently, you can! And it tastes much better apparently! I still haven't tried it yet, but I will soon. And once I do, I will definitely report back with findings.
